Accessibility Statement

How we make the Site usable for everyone, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to read the Site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading order, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text.
  • Descriptive alternative text for every photograph.
  • Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content, and layouts that work from small phones to large screens.
  • Animations that are turned off when your system requests reduced motion.
  • Data tables with proper headers, and status information that does not rely on color alone.

Known limitations

Some photo credits use small type. Links to third-party websites may not meet the same standard.
